Dialogue Poem Set 3: On Love

 

A dialogue there once was, on love,

‘Tween Ashen Cloak and

Robe Turquoise

(And all the while observers peer,

Such as Blue Hemp Tunic,

Black Bomber Jacket,)

With words to thought arise

(And all the while observers peer,

Such as White Thawb

And Earth N Parka Coat,)

And all the while observers peer.

But with words, were meanings all unclear?

Often the ‘truth’ in what someone says (with mouth)

Is unheard (by ears),

When we see (with eyes)

The speaker is not of our own kind (with our minds, closed).
