The World’s First Scientific Revolution

If you thought the scientific revolution began in a) Europe due to, for instance, b) discoveries by Copernicus about the Helio-centric model of the universe and c) the scientific method pioneered by the likes of Francis Bacon and d) a new scientific spirit of inquiry unknown to anything before it – then you’ve probably been schooled in a (false) Euro-centric view of things that does not match with the reality of what actually happened. Please be more critical of your assumptions – recheck your learning – and start again.

Indeed, within the heavens and the earth are signs (ayat) for the believers.” (Qur’an 45: 3)
